We?re looking for a great visual designer to join our Communications & Marketing Team. Someone who believes the way people work is broken and that you and Podio can make the big difference in fixing it. We want someone to create powerful visual content to carry the Podio message and support the Podio brand. You will be based in Copenhagen, a city consistently?rated one of the world?s greatest to live in! More than 10 members of thePodio team?have relocated here. We work in English, and you?ll be hard pressed to find anyone in this city that isn?t a fluent English speaker.

You

You shouldn?t be a ?Jack of all trades? but you should be willing to jump into any creative project with both feet. You will be part of the Communications team, but you will also work with closely with our awesome Marketing, Design and User Engagement teams to create beautiful visuals and perfect illustrations to often complex and unique communication challenges. You?ll need:

• A wide skill set, but you should be especially good at illustrating and underpinning text based communication and ideas.
• Understanding how people work on the web.
• At least two years experience in similar roles.
• Ability to achieve quality results on a tight deadline.
• Proficiency with the tools of the trade: Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
• Excellent written and oral communications.
• Good understanding of interface, interaction design and usability.
• Ideally you can take your designs from static files to full HTML / CSS, although this is not a requirement.
• Ability to work creatively with multiple teams and objectives.
• Knowledge of web technologies and their impact on the feasibility of design solutions.
• A portfolio that speaks for itself.

Your responsibilities

You?ll be responsible for for layout, design and production activities to produce quality graphic-design artwork. The visuals you create will mostly be used on the web, including the Podio website, blog and social media channels. You?ll be happy to get involved in other duties as assigned, but your primary tasks will be:

• Website and blog design.
• Design a broad range of pixel-perfect, static illustrations and graphics for communication campaigns and videos.
• Document and print design (Poster design, T-shirts, event invitations, product sheets, presentations).
• Facebook page design.
• Email newsletter design and implementation.
• Info-graphics.
• Basic animations for Podio video content (not a requirement, but a plus).
