Ouya is not missing any beats as they?ve announced a partnership with Square Enix who will have Final Fantasy III available on the Android-powered gaming console in March. You may be thinking about the current $15.99 price tag on the Play Store version, however, Ouya promises there will be a free demo available so you can try it out! They also had this to say about the launch:??This will be the first time gamers outside of Japan can play FFIII on their televisions through a console.??Final Fantasy III was actually Japan?s Final Fantasy VI, this explains why the jump to Final Fantasy VII was so major and why it was?referred?to as one of the ?missing pieces? in FF.
As an avid gamer, I?m stoked to see Ouya making such a huge splash and seeking developers of console games. They have made a commitment to ?deliver Final Fantasy III like you?ve never seen it before?? Well, we only have about 8 months to wait! What should we do till then?
