Volleyball: California Beach Volleyball Association (CBVA) hosts the California Cup State Championships at two venues Saturday and Sunday. At the Manhattan Beach Pier Men?s A, AA, Unrated and Women?s A and AA tournaments will be held Saturday followed by Men?s B, Co-ed A, Open and Unrated competitions on Sunday. The California Cup Youth Championships will be held Sunday at the Manhattan Beach Pier for boys and girls 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U divisions. Action begins at 9 a.m. each day. Whether a single child, the whole family, or just a group of friends (Ages 5 and up for rock wall, 8 and up for ropes course), the course provides challenges of solving problems and overcoming obstacles.
