Montgomery's Martin Luther King parade schedule announced

MONTGOMERY, Alabama -- Montgomery's annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. parade will be on Monday, Jan. 16, reports WSFA.

This year's parade, which was announced by Alabama state Rep. Alvin Holmes (D-Montgomery), will line up at 1 p.m. in front of the downtown post office on Catoma Street. The parade will start making its way through the streets of Montgomery at 1:30 p.m.

The governor, the House speaker, mayor, leaders of the Montgomery Improvement Association and other officials are expected to participate.
